The range of keepsakes that I offer are all handcrafted with the care, skill and attention to detail they deserve. Whether you’re looking for a gift for yourself or another loved one, newborn, family, wedding keepsake or any other special occasion, there is something suitable for all:
Fine Silver Jewellery
Fingerprint, hand/footprint, artwork and paw print jewellery involve a print kit being sent out to you. You will receive this in the post within 3-5 working days of being in receipt of payment. The process is simple: follow the instructions on how to take the prints; use the return label and stamp to return the prints in the same packaging; jewellery will be made as soon as prints are received and once finished will be lovingly gift wrapped, packaged and sent out to you upon completion.
Each piece of jewellery follows an intricate process before being ready to send out to the customer. Because of this, lead time on all jewellery is 2-3 weeks, including the other personalised and non-personalised pieces, as each piece is made to order.
These take place locally in the comfort of my home in West Sussex, near Brighton. This involves taking the hand / footprints or paw prints of your little loved one into clay, which a reverse mould will then be made from this using fine plaster. You choose what finish you would like and whether you would like it framed with a name plaque or left freestanding. The finished piece can either be hand delivered to your door if you are local, or a time can be arranged for collection from my home. Each piece will be bubble wrapped and packaged to help protect it during transport.
Raised impressions are particularly popular for having prints done of children 2 years or younger, however, nobody is ever too old to have an impression taken! Sibling and family handprints are also a great way to capture the memory of loved ones and are also a popular choice for people who may have missed out on getting prints during the early days of their children. Paw print raised impressions are also great for dogs who may not be suitable for the 3D casts. Lead time is generally 3-4 weeks as the casts need time to dry out fully before being worked on.
These also take place locally in the comfort of my home in West Sussex, near Brighton. The process involves taking a mould of your child’s hand or foot, or your dog’s paw into alginate (a completely non-toxic and safe mixture used by dentists to take dental moulds). Once set, the moulds slip off easily and are then taken away, where fine plaster will be used to create the cast. You can choose what finish you would like and whether you would like the hands and feet framed, with a name plaque or an accompanying photograph, whether to have them mounted onto a wooden plaque or left free to wiggle.
Although 3D castings are most popular for babies under 2 years, they can actually be for any age! I can do sibling, parent/child or two adult hand holding casts. Please get in touch for more information. If you are thinking of having your dog’s paw cast then please contact me to discuss first; some dogs may not be suitable for this process and will be better suited to raised impressions. Lead time is generally 3-4 weeks as the casts need time to dry out fully before being worked on.
If you would like to have a memorial piece made then please get in touch and I will of course be happy to create something special for you to treasure. My range of keepsake gifts are the perfect way to capture a moment in time for anyone you hold dear to your heart.
